Vanamor is a real estate investments company that acquires middle-market multi-family properties that are under-managed and in need of light-to-moderate rehabilitation with a long term investment horizon to obtain consistent cash flow and strong annual returns for investors.  Vanamor strategically invests in Class A/B/C multifamily communities throughout Class A/B markets and through tax-efficient investment vehicles such as 1031 exchanges, the Company provides investors with significant cash flow distributions while also focusing on the preservation and enhancement of their equity over the long term.  Vanamor is managed by principals whose combined experience spans over 20 years and in excess of $5 billion in real estate investments.

VANAMOR TEAM

Bobby Larsen is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vanamor and has over 15 years of multi-faceted real estate experience, including the acquisition of more than 12,000 apartments with a total value in excess of $5 billion. Throughout his tenure, investor returns on sold properties have averaged in excess of a 31% annual return. He oversees and provides leadership to the firm in areas of private equity, investment oversight, and strategic planning.

Bobby’s previous experience includes key positions at MG Properties and PIMCO, where he was an integral part of both firm’s real estate strategies. Bobby holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, emphasis in Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from Duke University.

  

Evan Curtis is the Chief Operating Officer of Vanamor. Prior to joining Vanamor, Evan spent 5 years at Wedgewood as the Director of Investor Relations and Commercial Finance, where he oversaw two private funds with a combined AUM of $200 million, raised capital for multifamily syndications, and sourced and secured over $300 million of debt on a portfolio of over 2,000 doors in Texas and California. Evan also spent 11 years at PIMCO, where he focused on Real Estate Private Equity funds, which included fundraising and ongoing management for a portfolio of funds with over $10 billion in capital commitments.

Evan Holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

  

Jeff Charmello is the Head of Investments at Vanamor and is responsible for overseeing the execution of multifamily investments throughout Texas. Prior to joining Vanamor, Jeff worked at Wedgewood as an Acquisition Manager, where he sourced, underwrote, and closed over $300M in acquisitions. Jeff played a pivotal role in the expansion and growth of the company’s 2,000-unit portfolio in Texas.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of San Diego.

  

Kyle Theodore is the Head of Capital Formation at Vanamor and spearheads the equity formation process for the firm’s portfolio. Kyle has over 25 years of experience in the institutional investment space. Prior to joining Vanamor, Kyle worked at Rayliant where, he oversaw the institutional sales team and was a member of their Executive Committee. He worked at Insight Investments where he co-led the US consultant relations team and spent nearly two decades at PIMCO where he served PIMCO’s institutional investment community in a variety of client-facing functions.

Kyle holds a Bachelors of Arts in Government and Literature from Claremont McKenna College, an MBA from Yale University, and is a CFA Charter holder.
